Warranty Policy
Overview
Aertsen takes pride in its product and service quality, each product is made at our state-of-the-art factories under skilled supervision with utmost love & care. All Aertsen Products are covered under warranty for complete peace of mind. Please read below to know more about the process for warranty claim and detailed terms & conditions.
How to Register a Warranty Claim
- Customers can register a complaint for any warranty related issues by calling us on our customer care number i.e, 040-41895555 or by writing to us at care@aertsen.in.
- Customer must possess a digital or physical proof of duly-signed Hand-over document to claim warranty against Aertsen Products.
- All warranty claims will be attended by our expert service team within 3 working days of complaint registration.
General Warranty Terms & Conditions
- This warranty shall begin on "the handover date" mentioned in the handover document at the time of project delivery.
- After settlement of any claim, the warranty period will not start afresh.
- Aertsen shall provide repair/replacement only after a thorough inspection carried out by its authorized representative.
- Aertsen shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damages to the customer. The customer's exclusive and sole remedy under this warranty policy shall be as mentioned here in this clause.
- Aertsen is not liable to provide any alternative accommodation during any repair work. Customers shall make their own arrangements, if required.
- Aertsen reserves the right to carry out inspections and to perform any tests, and may do so either itself or by means of any person nominated by it. Prior to such inspection or testing, the customer shall not be entitled to perform any repairs or remove or tamper with any part of the product/ service.
- Aertsen shall use its best endeavors to ensure that the repair work is completed as soon as possible, but does not assume liability for delay in this respect.
- Aertsen, in it's sole creation is entitled to Control/monitor repair which is to be carried out in accordance with all its specifications and instructions.
- Aertsen is not liable to process and execute any repair or replacement request made by the customer within the warranty time line in coordination with the third-party brand. Aertsen ONLY HELP to co-ordinate with the Respective Brands.
- Any additional charges including work done over and above fixing the identified defect will be chargeable by Aertsen. The cost of these additional charges is to be borne by the customer.
- There are no warranties expressed or implied under law, which extend beyond the terms set out in this warranty document.
- Neither party shall commence any court nor arbitration, discredit proceedings related to the above warranty policy before completing the entire evaluation process. Under such circumstances, the warranty policy will be considered null and void as the issue would be sub judice. In case of any disputes, the same is subject to the exclusive Jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad. The facts and all matters concerning any dispute will be kept confidential by both the customer and Aertsen at all times.
Warranty Does Not Cover
- Natural calamities such as earthquakes, cyclones
- Vandalism
- Acts of God
- Abuse or negligence by the customer
- Normal wear and tear
- Surface with contaminants
- Failure or defects in the structure or previous coating
- Any other external factors
Modular Furniture Warranty
Aertsen Warranty Policies covers only when:
- The product supplied and installed is properly maintained and used for normal domestic use.
- The product is still owned by the original purchaser.
- The product is still at it's original installed position and location.
- The warranty has not expired, subject to limitations set by Aertsen.

What Is Covered
- Manufacturing defects against fit and finish of the product.
- Bulging and bubbles on the panels against moisture/dampness, subjected to less than 72 hours of exposure and it also covers any bend more than 8mm, caused due to weather condition and moisture level in the atmosphere.
- Damage caused due to termites/pests, subjected to the use of product in hygienic surroundings and with proper maintenance.
- Peeling-off of Laminate/edge-band of the panels, subjected to the use of product in Indoor conditions only and not exposed to Moisture/dampness for more than 72 hours, direct/indirect sunlight, or heat.
- Hardware failure within warranty period, subjected to the use of product in Indoor conditions only and not exposed to Moisture/dampness for more than 24 hours.
What Is Not Covered
- Color fading or pattern damage of laminate/acrylic cannot be covered under warranty.
- PU and Polish are not covered under the comprehensive 10 year Modular warranty due to the nature of the product being Paint, Veneer and Polish which are sensitive and must be used with caution.
- Damage to the vanity units that are in continuous contact with water, high moisture, or wet conditions.
- Cabinets installed in outdoor areas, such as balconies. Exposure to outdoor conditions, including direct sunlight, is excluded from warranty coverage.
- Normal incidental deterioration like cuts, scratches, nicks and abrasions which are resulting from normal use during the standard life of the product.
- Natural wear and tear or damage caused by rough handling or using the product beyond its intended use.
- Damage caused due to accidents, improper maintenance, intentional or willful misuse of the product.
- This warranty does NOT cover rusting of channels, hinges, and other metallic parts. These could be damaged due to household chemicals and sprays. Hence, care has to be taken while using such products around hardware and accessories.
- Any cabinetry or component parts that Aertsen considers to have been subject to alteration, modification, accident, abnormal use, extreme temperatures and continuous contact with water, high moisture levels or use of harsh and/or abrasive cleaning chemicals.
- Any labour, installation or transportation costs or any responsibility for damage that considers as natural wear and tear of finishes and surfaces.
- Any third party products used or installed associated with Aertsen kitchens/ wardrobes/ modular storage such as electrical & plumbing fixtures, counter-tops and appliances, instead will carry the third party brand warranty and one can refer respective brand's website for their warranty policies.
- Repair(s) and/or replacement(s) are subject to the current product offerings of styles and construction options within the Aertsen product line, at the time of the claim. If a claim is filed after an Aertsen product becomes obsolete or discontinued, Aertsen will replace the affected component with a replacement component of a similar style based on availability at the time of the claim.
- Any decision regarding repair of the said component (in part or whole) solely lies with the authorized Aertsen representative. The decision will be made following an inspection by the representative whether to repair at site, or return product to the factory for refurbishing/ replacement.
- Aertsen will make all efforts to replace/ repair the said defect within a reasonable period of time. Aertsen will NOT be liable for any direct/indirect loss to the user due to the defect or delay in providing the service, or any fault arising due to design, application or installation.
- Aertsen reserves the right to alter specifications in keeping with its policy of continuous product evaluation and improvement.
- The scope of Aertsen warranty cannot be changed or broadened by any authorized representative of Aertsen.
Custom & Service Works Warranty
Non-Standardized scope of work including but not limited to Wood work, Glass work, Partitions, Wall Cladding & Paneling, Flooring, False Ceiling, Electrical and Plumbing work etc. that are made On-site tailored to customer requirements is classified as Custom work. And Aertsen offers 6 month comprehensive warranty against Quality and Craftsmanship of the said custom works.
Aertsen Warranty Policies covers only when:
- The product supplied and installed is properly maintained and used for normal domestic use.
- The product is still owned by the original purchaser.
- The product is still at it's original installed position and location.
- The warranty has not expired, subject to limitations set by Aertsen.

Onsite Woodwork โ What Is Covered
- Craftsmanship defects against fit and finish of the product.
- Bulging and bending of panels against moisture/dampness, subjected to less than 24 hours of exposure.
- Damage caused due to termites/pests, subjected to the use of product in hygienic surroundings and with proper maintenance.
- Peeling-off of Laminate/edge-band of the panels, subjected to the use of product in Indoor conditions only and not exposed to Moisture/dampness for more than 24 hours, direct/indirect sunlight, or heat.
- Hardware failure within warranty period, subjected to the use of product in Indoor conditions only and not exposed to Moisture/dampness for more than 24 hours.
Onsite Woodwork โ What Is Not Covered
- PU-Paint, Veneer, Lacquer and Polish works are not covered under Aertsen warranty due to its nature of extreme vulnerability to water, chemicals, UV light and heat.
- Normal incidental deterioration like cuts, scratches, nicks and abrasions which are resulting from normal use during the standard life of the product.
- Natural wear and tear or damage caused by rough handling or using the product beyond its intended use.
- Damage caused due to accidents, improper maintenance, intentional or willful misuse of the product.
- This warranty does NOT cover rusting of channels, hinges, and other metallic parts. These could be damaged due to household chemicals and sprays. Hence, care has to be taken while using such products around hardware and accessories.

- Any third party products used or installed associated with Custom scope of work, instead will carry the third party brand warranty and one can refer to the respective brand's website for their warranty policies.
False Ceiling โ Specific Terms
- All the False Ceiling works are covered under a 6 month comprehensive warranty period for the material and workmanship of the scope of works limited to False ceiling failure only.
- If a defect is found upon inspection by a company authorized representative, the defect will be rectified in accordance with the claim terms below.
- The overall false ceiling surface area exceeds 150 sq ft, subject to satisfactory inspection of the surface by Aertsen representative.
- Painting will not be covered if any claims against custom works, we will repair and re-install the damage.
- The customer has used the entire false ceiling system recommended and executed by Aertsen.
- Board integrity, flaking and peeling of the joint compound or coming off from the substrate.
- Cracks on the surface.
- Growth of fungus and algae on ceiling surfaces subjective to NO moisture exposure.
The warranty policy shall be void in the following events:
- Intermittent dripping of water due to proximity of vegetation or air-conditioning units or any other sources of water leakage or dampness.
- Water penetration due to capillary rise from the ground level or the adjacent walls, water leakage, seeping and continuous dampness of the surface.
- Physical damage to the surface with an external force or entity.
- Defects arising due to failure or defects in the structure to which ceiling is anchored.
Electrical Works โ Specific Terms
- All the electrical works are covered under a 6 month comprehensive warranty period for the material and workmanship of the scope of works limited to electrical failure only.
- Electrical fixtures like lights, fans, sensors and appliances etc. are not covered under Aertsen warranty and carry their respective brand warranty. Aertsen is not liable for the warranty claim settlements of such products under any circumstances.
- The overall electrical work carried out exceeds a value of INR 50,000 subject to no voltage fluctuation or no input power source issue checked by Aertsen representative.
- The customer has used the entire electrical wiring recommended and laid by Aertsen provided the customer had used appropriate appliances in the usage ports/ points.
- Electrical short circuit/ tripping.
- Loose contacts in the plugs/ switches.
- Aertsen will carry-out a repair of the identified electrical failure and the repair cost will include the cost of electrical items including wiring, switches, conduits (if any) that are sold by Aertsen only and the labour required to set right the concerned failure only, at the time of lodgment of claim.
- Aertsen will not repair or replace the components that are not sold or invoiced by Aertsen at the time of lodgment of claim.
Not covered:
- Improper power input to the mains.
- Water penetration due to capillary rise from the ground level, water leakage, seeping and continuous dampness of the surface.
- Electrical failures due to physical damage of conduits, wires, switches and plates.
- Issues in the power input source.
- Electrical works been repaired by any other representative other than company representative.
Plumbing Works โ Specific Terms
- All the Plumbing works are covered under a 6 month comprehensive warranty period for the material and workmanship of the scope of works limited to plumbing failure only.
- Plumbing fixtures including but, not limited to basins, faucets, nozzles, angle valves, water closets, showers, diverters and siphons etc. are not covered under Aertsen warranty and carry their respective brand warranty. Aertsen is not liable for the warranty claim settlements of such products under any circumstances.
- The overall plumbing work carried out exceeds a value of INR 50,000 subject to satisfactory inspection by Aertsen representative.
- The customer has used the entire plumbing system recommended and laid by Aertsen provided the customer had used appropriate fixtures.
- Leakage in plumbing or sanitary pipes.
- Plumbing and sanitary pipe manufacturing defect.
- Aertsen will carry-out a repair of the identified plumbing failure and the repair cost will include the cost of plumbing items including pipes and plumbing-work accessories (if any) that are sold by Aertsen only and the labour required to set right the concerned failure only, at the time of lodgment of claim.
- Aertsen will not repair or replace the components that are not sold or invoiced by Aertsen at the time of lodgment of claim.
Not covered:
- Improper quality of water supply to the property.
- Water penetration due to capillary rise from the ground level, water leakage, seeping and continuous dampness of the surface.
- Plumbing failures due to physical damage or mishandling.
- Plumbing works been repaired by any other representative other than company representative.
Furniture Warranty
Sofas
2-year warranty against borer/termite issues in solid wood furniture by brand 'Aertsen'. Does not cover: upholstery, normal wear and tear, cushion/foam softening, colour fading from sunlight, or damage from rough handling.
All Other Furniture
2-year warranty against borer/termite issues in solid wood furniture by brand 'Aertsen'. Does not cover: upholstery, normal wear and tear, colour fading from sunlight, or damage from improper use.
Upholstery and Cushions
Aertsen warranty does not cover upholstery, normal wear and tear, softening or flattening of cushions and foam, color fading from sunlight, damage caused by rough handling and use of abrasives, corrosive materials, cleaning agents or improper use and maintenance.
